In this video, Jerlyn Jones, spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, discusses the special dietary considerations parents and guardians should make for school-age children in their care. While the kinds of nutritious food do not differ greatly from that of adults, Jerlyn offers helpful food options for children to their caretakers that will encourage healthy food consumption.
